After more than a decade working in education, she has built her career around communication, organisation and strong relationships. Having made the move to St Leonards in 2018, she and her husband have proudly built a life on the Bellarine, where they share their home with their two much-loved dogs. Jelena has developed a genuine appreciation for the region’s sense of community and relaxed coastal lifestyle. Known for her approachable nature and caring attitude, she is committed to making people feel supported, valued and comfortable from the very first conversation.

What are some core values you live by?
Kindness, integrity and genuine connection are at the heart of everything I do. I believe in treating people with respect, being honest in my communication, and following through on my commitments. Building trust is important to me, whether it’s with colleagues, clients, friends or family.
I also value hard work and continuous growth. I enjoy stepping outside my comfort zone, embracing new challenges and finding ways to improve both personally and professionally.
Above all, I value community. Since moving to St Leonards in 2018, I’ve experienced firsthand how powerful a supportive community can be. I believe in contributing positively, helping others where I can, and building meaningful relationships that last beyond a single interaction.

What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?
Moving to St Leonards in 2018 gave me a real appreciation for what makes the Bellarine such a special place. What started as a move quickly became a true sense of belonging. I’ve loved getting to know the local community, supporting local businesses and enjoying everything from the beautiful coastline to the relaxed lifestyle that attracts so many people to the region.
What I value most is the strong community spirit. People genuinely look out for one another here, and there’s a warmth and friendliness that you notice straight away. Having experienced that firsthand, I understand why so many people choose to make the Bellarine home, and I enjoy helping others discover what makes this area so unique.

Why Buxton?
What drew me to Buxton was its focus on people, relationships and community. The culture feels genuine and aligned with the values that have guided me throughout my career. It’s clear that Buxton understands that property is about more than houses—it’s about people, families and important life decisions.
I was also attracted to the supportive team environment at Buxton Bellarine. As someone making a transition into a new industry, I wanted to join a team that values learning, collaboration and personal growth.
