Born, raised and educated in the idyllic south of Sweden, Johanna Melin followed her heart to Australian and found a new passion for property along the way. Stepping almost directly off the plane and into the REIV to complete her Agents Representative Licence, Johanna has embraced her new home, and her career, with equal enthusiasm.

Starting out with a respected boutique Bayside agency, Johanna has a sophisticated experience of the market; working with some of Melbourne’s most prestigious properties and highest net-worth vendors and purchasers. Involved in office management in addition to managing the selling and buying experience of the agency’s very discerning clients, Johanna is experienced beyond her years - with a deep understanding of advertising, administration and Sales Trust functions.

Whether managing the sale of multi-million dollar properties on Brighton’s Golden Mile, or introducing young potential buyers to their future first home, Johanna’s superpower is an ability to read, understand and engage. An avid listener, with an ability to empathise honed in her first career as a social worker, Johanna finds people talk to her and place trust in her; allowing her to naturally understand her vendors’ needs and pro-actively intuit their buyers’ intentions.

Since moving to Australia Johanna’s life has revolved around property almost 24/7. With a partner also in the industry, Johanna finds that real estate creeps into almost everything they do. Time spent with friends over brunch usually involves analysis of the week’s sales, and local runs often include a diversion past potential listings. Even walks with her French Bulldog, Evie, usually go beyond the park and onto the streets for a closer look at what’s for sale!
