What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?
I grew up in Brighton after moving from Iceland with my family in the 1970s. I attended Brighton Grammar, got married, had children and never left, so my connection to the area is lifelong.
What do your clients commonly say you do differently?
Clients value that I listen, provide genuine advice and never pressure people into decisions they are not comfortable with. I focus on guiding people with clarity, respect and experience.
Tell us about any community initiatives you’re proud of
I am proud of our association with NBCF, particularly as breast cancer has impacted us personally. Connor's Run is another important local cause I have supported as both a runner and charity auctioneer.
Take us through your most meaningful client story
One client had held their family home for 58 years, making the sale deeply emotional rather than simply transactional. Their feedback spoke to preparation, communication and auctioneering, and it was a privilege to guide them through such a significant moment.
