What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?

I was born and raised in East Geelong and have worked locally throughout my career. I also have a strong understanding of the St Albans Park area, as it was my neighbourhood growing up. That local knowledge gives me a genuine connection to the people and properties here.

What are some core values you live by?

Listening carefully and understanding client needs are central to how I work. My background in financial planning helped me develop strong communication and negotiation skills, which now support my real estate clients. With the broader Buxton Geelong team behind me, I focus on making the experience meaningful and positive.

How has your career led you to this role?

My financial planning background gave me a strong foundation in client service, communication and negotiation. When I was ready to change careers, real estate felt like a natural fit because it still allowed me to guide people through important decisions. Whether buying or selling, my focus is always the best possible outcome.

I’m not sure if he was lying to me or if he genuinely didn’t know what he was doing but his appraisal was completely wrong. It took me nearly a year to sell and sold for significantly less than what he said it would ‘easily sell for’. When I enquired I was not in a position where I had to sell. He recommended I spend a lot of money (styling, marketing, painting etc). He said if I did, it would ‘sell easily’. It didn’t and then I needed to sell to recoup what I spent, it was incredibly stressful
