Rosie Barton is a country girl at heart, and it has been her regional upbringing that has seen her thrive in the real estate industry.
Growing up and spending her whole adult life in the small country town of Boorowa, near Yass in New South Wales, Rosie entered the world of real estate not long out of high school, working as a bit of an all-rounder at a local franchise office in Yass. The experience helped provide the early grounding of much of what she considers her greatest assets in the job today. Her role entailed her to drive long distances and spend some time at each appointment, helping to hone her communication skills and work hard on growing relationships. By her own admission, she’s a bit of a ‘talker’ but also firmly believes that communicating regularly and succinctly is the basis of a good rapport with both Rental Providers, Renters and every other party in the process.
Rosie’s role as our Field Services & Leasing Manager also provides her with a great opportunity to sharpen her role in helping people, the number one thing that she loves about her job in the industry, that and being out of the office on the road for extended periods. She also finds meeting people with diverse backgrounds and stories one of life’s great educators and readily admits that it helps in understanding her clients better and continually improves her game.
Outside of the office, she is a self-confessed rugby junkie having been raised on the sport and playing competitive rugby union through her school years as well as touch rugby. She is a diehard Manly fan and tunes into the NRL every weekend. That and getting out and about with friends and family are her two great loves.
