Outside of the suit, Matthew is engaged and a proud father of two girls. He enjoys spending time with his family, going for runs along the Maribyrnong River and loves supporting the local sporting teams, including sponsoring the Yarraville Junior Cricket Club. He is a 3-time premiership player with the Williamstown CYMS football club and spent his junior years playing at the Spotswood football and cricket clubs. Matthew is a life-long Western Bulldogs supporter and one of his greatest memories was seeing them win the 2016 AFL premiership at the MCG, alongside his Dad.
