What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?
I’m a third-generation Inner Westie and have witnessed the area change over decades. From the evolving café culture to the people who have moved here and shaped the community, I feel deeply connected to this place. I couldn’t see myself living or working anywhere else.
What are some core values you live by?
Loyalty, trust and honesty mean everything to me. I’m an old soul in that way; a firm handshake and direct eye contact still matter. When values align, I’m the kind of person who will give everything I can.
Take us through your most meaningful client story.
One story that has stayed with me was a Footscray sale nearly 15 years ago. After passing the property in at auction, I negotiated with a buyer who was away near Daylesford and eventually drove out late on a Sunday night to get the contract signed on the side of a dirt road. The vendors were expecting their first child within days, so helping secure that outcome under pressure is something I’ll never forget.
