The awards recognise the use of colour in interior and exterior design for both residential and commercial buildings.
Award categories included Residential Interior, Commercial Interior for Workplaces and Retail, Commercial Interior for Public buildings and Hospitality venues, Commercial and Multi Residential Exterior and Single Residential Exterior, as well as the Grand Prix for the overall winner.
This year's awards saw the trend towards bejewelled greens, earthy reds and soothing hues of purple and blue continue.
The participating judges were Carole Whiting (Carole Whiting Interiors + Design), Mardi Doherty (Doherty Design Studio), Matt Gibson (Matt Gibson Architecture + Design), Rosa Coy (Coy Yiontis Architect) and Simon Farrell-Green, Editor of HOME New Zealand.
