The Design Files team have spoken, and the list of their shortlisted finalists for the Design Files Awards 2019 have been announced! TDF is one of Australia’s most popular design blogs, that celebrates our local designers working in all realms including gardens, arts, architecture, interiors, homewares and much more. The awards were created to acknowledge the designers, architects and makers who add great value to the Australian creative community.
The award-winners will be announced on September 19th from the talented pool of shortlisted designers across 12 categories. Their work is creative, thoughtful and forward-thinking, and we have selected some of the shortlisted designers from each category so you can peep their amazing work.

landscapes, the two hand-tufted rug-cum-art-pieces create a soft, sensory

Created to client brief, this elliptical wall hanging incorporates ‘sunny Brisbane’ hues and charcoal merino warping to complement a residential living space. Woven in two part, it utilises wool offcuts.
