Australia’s foremost authority on colour reveals its Kinship palette for Autumn 2018.
Millenial Pink and Ultra Violet take a back seat in Dulux’s Autumn palette dubbed ‘Kinship’. Rich, warm tones inspired by earthy hues feature heavily: think terracotta, grey-greens, soft neutrals and deep, vibrant reds. The palette, says Dulux, is ‘inspired by traditional cultures and folklore’.
A perfect pairing with natural materials such as linen, rattan, timber and stone, and thick, warm, folk-inspired furnishings like chunky cable knit blankets, textured rugs, woven baskets and textile wall hangings, the palette creates a cosy sense of wellness, of a homely, hygge-ish retreat to escape to as the cool weather begins to set in.
