After months of renovations, design challenges and sleepless nights, WA couple Britt and Taz have officially won The Block: Heartland 2025.
The police officers turned renovators walked away with an incredible $520,000 in prize money and profit, after their stunning Daylesford property sold for $3.41 million in Sunday night’s nail-biting auction finale.
There was an unmistakable energy where teamwork, trust and talent combined - the kind that turns hard work into something truly remarkable.
Behind only the AFL Grand Final, The Block: Heartland 2025 was the most-watched television event of the year - drawing millions of viewers across Australia and capturing the imagination of home enthusiasts everywhere.
Selling under the hammer with Auctioneer Damien Cooley and proudly supported by the team at Buxton Ballarat, Britt and Taz’s home was known as The Wellness House on Cedar Lane. Britt’s vision of ‘Modern Organic Luxury’ embodied a sense of calm, connection and craftsmanship.
Buxton Ballarat Directors Mark Nunn and Pete Burley, along with their dedicated team, were with Britt and Taz every step of the way. Together, they brought to life a property that reflected not just beautiful design, but a clear and considered story.
“It’s a great result for Britt and Taz. We knew they had a great house, and their brief right from the start was about wellness. It was high-end luxury, and they nailed everything about it,” said Mark Nunn.
“Britt and Taz have made some good money and they deserve it. The work they’ve put in is incredible.” Throughout the campaign, Mark said the community response was overwhelmingly positive. "People loved it; it had a really homely feel,” he shared, adding that the strong interest and three competitive bidders on auction day, including well-known buyer Danny Wallis, came as no surprise.
The collaboration was a celebration of creativity, teamwork and trust: values that sit at the heart of Buxton. It was a proud moment for Buxton Ballarat and a reflection of the energy and commitment that defines our team.
