Winter is here, and let’s face it, just like the GOT ending, we just have to accept it, and move on. BUT…if we could choose to embrace the cold ANYWHERE else in the world, Aspen, Colorado, would be way up there.

Ahh Aspen, where the celebs go to get their ski, shop, ‘Gram, and sippers on (hot cocoa of course...and bubbles....and the old nip of the Isabella's Islay because who doesn't have a $6 million bottle of whisky stashed away?). Anyways, if the #mountainlyf appeals to you, we heard that a property has just popped onto the market, for the bargain price of US$18 million.

Owned by one of Aspen's 'founding families', Erickson Ranch is located at the base of Red Mountain and is a 10 minute drive from the city’s centre. 

Surrounded by 12 acres of private woods and luscious greenery, Erickson Ranch is uber fancy and private (it’s even considered the largest and most private lot on Red Mountain). I mean, those views, ughhhh, so good.

Plus, having 7-bedrooms and 5.5 baths doesn’t hurt either. 

Although this ranch is just a little out of our price range, the median price for a home in the area is approximately US$1.6 million; which, compared to $US18 million, feels a lot more affordable.

But if you do happen to have a handy US$18 milllion lying around and feel like going for a ski, you could snap up your own ranch. Otherwise, if you’re like us and don’t have quite enough money saved in your Dollamite account, you could always just admire it from your tiny house on your tiny block in miserable Melbourne town.
