Having recently begun her career in real estate, Narelle combines a can-do attitude with a thoughtful, people-first approach. What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?
Having grown up in Geelong, this area has always felt like home. As an avid Geelong Cats supporter, I love being close to GMHBA Stadium and attending games throughout the season. I also enjoy spending time at local cafés and supporting nearby businesses. What I love most about Geelong is the strong sense of community and the friendly, familiar faces you see wherever you go.

What do your clients commonly say you do differently?
Clients often tell me they appreciate how approachable and helpful I am. I enjoy making people feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors. Whether it's answering questions or helping with day-to-day enquiries, I always take the time to listen and assist where I can. I believe friendly service and clear communication can make a real difference to someone's experience.

Take us through your most meaningful client story
One of my favourite parts of being a receptionist is building rapport with people. While chatting with a client one day, we discovered she was a friend of my mum's and that they had played netball together years ago. It was a lovely reminder of how connected the Geelong community is and how quickly a simple conversation can create a genuine connection.

How has your career led you to the role you're in today?
After relocating back to Geelong from the Sunshine Coast, I felt it was the right time to pursue a career in real estate. I've always enjoyed working with people and building relationships, so the industry felt like a natural fit. Joining Buxton Newtown has been a rewarding career change, and I've loved learning from such a supportive team while developing new skills every day.
