What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?
Even though I don’t live here, I work in Port Melbourne every day and it has grown on me. The community, familiar faces and friendly atmosphere remind me of Newcastle, where I’m from, so it feels comfortable and familiar.

Respect, loyalty and accountability are important to me. I try to approach people without judgement, take responsibility for my actions and stay grounded in how I treat people day to day.
What’s something only locals know about this area?
Locals know the 109 tram has quiet advantages. Getting off around Beacon Cove can lead you to waterfront paths and quieter beach spots away from the busier areas.
