Originally from Cairns in Far North Queensland, Darcy spent much of his childhood in the country town of Strathmerton, Victoria, before returning to Cairns where he completed an apprenticeship and lived for four years. Nearly two years ago, he made the move to Melbourne, which he now proudly calls home.
Darcy’s career began outside of real estate, working as a qualified painter across both union and domestic sites for four years. He also spent two years as a lifeguard in Cairns, experiences that strengthened his ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and communicate effectively. He holds a Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice through the REIV, as well as certifications in painting and lifeguarding.
For the past six months, Darcy has been building his career in real estate, starting as a Leasing Consultant before transitioning into a broader property role. He enjoys the variety the industry provides, particularly helping tenants feel heard and supported while assisting landlords and colleagues with efficiency and professionalism.
Outside of work, Darcy enjoys staying active, spending time at the beach, playing footy, and catching up with friends.
