What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?
I’ve lived in Bayside for most of my life. I went to school here, met many of my lifelong friends here, bought my first home here with my wife, and raised our two daughters here. My family still lives locally, and over the years I’ve built strong connections through community, sport, and everyday life. Bayside has shaped so much of who I am, and I’m proud to call it home.

What are some core values you live by?
Loyalty, honesty, humility, positivity, and always giving my best effort. I believe challenges are opportunities to learn and grow. Rather than dwelling on setbacks, I focus on what I can take from the experience and how I can move forward stronger.

Tell us about any community initiatives you’re proud of.
Giving back has always been important to me. I’ve been involved with my daughters’ schools, played in the Dads’ Football program at St Mary’s, coached junior rugby, and taken part in fundraising events for children’s cancer research. These experiences have helped me build meaningful connections while supporting causes that matter.

How has your career led you to the role you’re in today?
For more than 30 years, I’ve worked in sales, marketing, and customer-focused roles with some of Australia’s best-known brands. Throughout that time, I’ve built strong skills in communication, negotiation, and delivering great service.

Real estate felt like a natural next step. It combines the skills I’ve developed throughout my career with something I genuinely enjoy, helping people make important property decisions. Combined with my local knowledge and deep connection to Bayside, it’s a career that feels like the right fit.

What’s something only locals know about this area?
Locals know Bayside is about much more than the beach. From sailing, cycling, golf, and community sport to great cafés, restaurants, shopping villages, and excellent schools, there’s a lifestyle here that’s hard to leave. It’s one of the reasons so many people choose to stay for life.

We approach appraisals as a practical conversations, grounded in real data, local insight and what matters most to you.

Speak to us

Your Buxton agent visits your property, considers its features, location, and market conditions, and combines that with recent sales data to give you a clear, realistic view of its value.

We analyse comparable properties, current market trends, and your home’s unique qualities. From there, we provide a considered range that reflects what buyers are likely to pay.

Not at all. An appraisal is simply insight - a way to understand your home’s value and your options before making any decisions.

Typically, we recommend an in-person appraisal so we can assess your property fully. In some cases, a virtual appraisal can provide a helpful initial guide.

Agents weigh factors differently - recent sales, market conditions, and property features. At Buxton, we combine local insight, data, and experience to provide a balanced, realistic appraisal you can trust.
