Kate is a Senior Property Manager with more than 11 years in property management and a long connection to Brighton. Known for her personal approach and practical understanding of clients' needs, she treats every property with care, combining organisation, accountability and kindness to support owners and renters through every stage.

What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood? My first hospitality job, 18 years ago, was on Church Street in Brighton. Since then I have never strayed far, and I began my property management career nearby more than 11 years ago. What do your clients commonly say you do differently? Clients appreciate that I bring a personal element to property management. I treat every home as if it were my own and think carefully about how I would want matters resolved if I were in their position. What are some core values you live by? Integrity, kindness, accountability and family are very important to me. I believe in following through, owning mistakes when they happen and remembering that everyone is dealing with something. Tell us about any community initiatives you’re proud of I have completed Oxfam, Connor's Run and supported the Royal Children's Hospital through fundraising visits and events. It is a wonderful place that supports families through incredibly difficult times.

Your Buxton team member will cover the details - here’s a clear view of what an appraisal involves.

We approach appraisals as a practical conversations, grounded in real data, local insight and what matters most to you.

Speak to us

Your Buxton agent visits your property, considers its features, location, and market conditions, and combines that with recent leasing data to give you a clear, realistic view of its value.

We analyse comparable properties, current market trends, and your home’s unique qualities. From there, we provide a considered range that reflects what renters are likely to pay.

Not at all. An appraisal is simply insight - a way to understand your property's value and your options before making any decisions.

Typically, we recommend an in-person appraisal so we can assess your property fully. In some cases, a virtual appraisal can provide a helpful initial guide.

Agents weigh factors differently - recent lease results, market conditions, and property features. At Buxton, we combine local insight, data, and experience to provide a balanced, realistic appraisal you can trust.
