Britt, Taz & Mark Nunn join Mark Bouris on The Mentor

Best known for his straight-talking financial advice, Mark Bouris AM has built his podcast The Mentor on honest conversations with business owners and entrepreneurs, exploring what drives them, the challenges they face, and the lessons they learn along the way.

Joining him in Sydney were The Block’s House 3 contestants Britt & Taz, alongside Buxton Ballarat’s Mark Nunn, to share their journey from WA police officers in the Pilbara to contestants on one of Australia’s most-watched shows. Their motivation? Creating a better future for their family.

Britt led the design vision, working closely with Mark and their local team to craft a home that captures Daylesford’s warmth and calm: a town known as Australia’s spa capital for its mineral springs and easy escape from city life. The result is an impactful, considered design that feels right at home in its surroundings.

On The Block, having the right partners from the start is key - including agents Mark Nunn and Pete Burley from Buxton Ballarat, auctioneer Damien Cooley, and Love It Landscaping, who brought the outdoor vision to life.

This season marks Buxton’s fifth Block partnership, and the team is already off to a strong start through Buxton’s shared database of qualified buyers. Early interest is coming from Melbourne, Sydney, and active buyer’s agents.

“Buyers are already reaching out,” says Mark. “Being part of the build process means we understand every detail and decision that’s gone into the home, so we can genuinely sell the luxury lifestyle it offers – and the reasoning behind each choice made.”

The podcast opportunity came about through a recommendation from auctioneer Damien Cooley to Mark Bouris - a reflection of Britt and Taz’s authenticity, and Mark Nunn’s ability to build genuine relationships.
