Dancing with our stars

Mark Nunn, Director at Buxton Ballarat was approached by The Ballarat Foundation to take part in the first Charity dance competition in Ballarat to help raise money for much needed local charities in June 2019.

Ten much-loved and well-known Ballarat identities each performed a dance with their professional dancing partner before a final group dance while fundraising individually to raise $10K each totalling $100K goal on the night.

Stars has raised more than $112,333 for the Ballarat Foundation, exceeding the philanthropic organisation's fundraising goal.

The people's choice award was announced to the dancer who raised the most funds. Buxton Ballarat co-director Mark Nunn raised more than $26,000 for the Ballarat Foundation.

The foundation runs the Ballarat Reads, L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program and Volunteering Ballarat, and also provides grants to other community organisations.

Now in its 8th year, the Real Estate Business Awards is the premier awards program recognising quality in the Australian real estate industry.

Based on volume and efficiency levels, the REB Top 50 Sales Offices 2020 ranking sets a national benchmark for those operating within Australia’s real estate industry.

There are three metrics used to determine the grading of those who have claimed a spot in the REB Top 50 Sales Offices 2020: the number of properties sold, the total dollar volume of properties sold and an efficiency rating determined by the ratio of sales to support staff. To simplify – the offices that list and sell the most, in the most efficient manner, will out rank the others.

With 720 listings and 756 Sold properties – 13 sales agents and 3 admin support staff Buxton Ballarat took out the No.1 spot in Australia for the top Real Estate Sales office for 2020.
