With two decades of real estate experience and multiple awards including Australian BDM of the Year for 2024 and Buxton's BDM of the Year for four consecutive years, Sophie truly lives and breathes property management.

Over the years, she has honed her expertise to focus on helping clients maximise their investments, whether it's through a new purchase, a fresh build, or expanding an existing portfolio whilst specialising in existing and incoming legislation.

Her promotion comes at a timely moment, as Kennedy-Rush brings a ground-level perspective on what she describes as an "affordability paradox," where easing vacancy rates mask a deepening crisis at the lower end of the spectrum.

While recent data shows vacancy rates stabilising around 2%, Kennedy-Rush warns this figure obscures the true market reality. "The headline numbers suggest balance, which there is for supply and demand, but when you're working directly with renters and investors on the ground, you see a different story with affordability,"  Ms Kennedy-Rush, told The Real Estate Conversation.
