LUXURY LIVING

U wot m8?! An 'ultra-wealthy' billionaire family have rented a five-storey mega mansion in Westminster—the biggest private home in the area—for £84 000 per month on a 'try-before-you-buy' basis...

...as in, they're just gonna give the joint a spin for a year to see if they like it enough to buy it.

London agents, Rokstone, who are responsible for the lease—the city's biggest rental deal ever—say the mansion will have an asking price of £35 million should the family wish to purchase the property.

Rokstone MD, Becky Fatemi, believes stamp duty, political weakness and Brexit have caused their mega-rich international buyers to delay buying homes in London, with an upturn in interested parties preferring to try the properties before committing to the big move.

Built around 1904 and renovated in 2012, the home comes fully furnished and includes a bronze Rodin sculpture. Just 'cause.

Here's what the digs look like, but if you do have a spare AUD$64-65 million hanging out, you'll need to wait until the current tenants decide if they want the joint or not...
