I didn't actually deal with Alex as my broker did the leg work. We had agreed on a price early and requested a signed contract asap. Alex had provided his word on the deal. All looking good then there were "offers" coming from all over the place. We played the game and 'won' the property in the end though some of the information back from Alex didn't always make sense in my mind. From my experience Alex didn't display good character in some of our negotiations. We did buy the property however.
