Growing up in Geelong, Daryl brings a genuine appreciation for the city’s history, changing streetscapes and strong sense of community. With a background shaped by family business and a long-standing interest in property, he approaches real estate with honesty, curiosity and a sincere enjoyment of helping people navigate their next chapter.

What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?
I grew up in Geelong and have lived in several parts of the city. My parents and grandparents ran businesses here, so I feel a strong connection to the area, its history and, of course, the Geelong Cats.

What are some core values you live by?
I believe you should be honest in all your dealings with people. It is much easier to be truthful than to remember stories, and honesty is the foundation of trust.

Why Buxton?
I have known many people at Buxton for years, so when the opportunity came up to join the team, it was an easy choice.

The market for selling a Unit in a high density property over the last two years has been difficult due to the State Government’s property taxation policies. Vendors need to be realistic and Agents need to implement a selling / market strategy accordingly. Patience and time on the market must be expected. Our property in the G1 development offered a fantastic place to live in the heart of Geelong. Negotiations required skill, expertise, patience & sensitivity with the client

Your Buxton agent will cover the details - here’s a clear view of what an appraisal involves.

We approach appraisals as a practical conversations, grounded in real data, local insight and what matters most to you.

Speak to us

Your Buxton agent visits your property, considers its features, location, and market conditions, and combines that with recent sales data to give you a clear, realistic view of its value.

We analyse comparable properties, current market trends, and your home’s unique qualities. From there, we provide a considered range that reflects what buyers are likely to pay.

Not at all. An appraisal is simply insight - a way to understand your home’s value and your options before making any decisions.

Typically, we recommend an in-person appraisal so we can assess your property fully. In some cases, a virtual appraisal can provide a helpful initial guide.

Agents weigh factors differently - recent sales, market conditions, and property features. At Buxton, we combine local insight, data, and experience to provide a balanced, realistic appraisal you can trust.
