Growing up in Sandringham and now living locally in Black Rock, David knows the area intimately and has always been surrounded by conversations about property, people and the local area.
Before transitioning into real estate, David built a successful legal career as a Senior Associate in commercial litigation at a prominent national law firm. Acting across diverse matters in fast-paced, high-pressure environments sharpened his attention to detail and refined skills developed through complex disputes. Achieving favourable settlements for high-end clients reinforced the importance of clear communication, honesty and trust. A natural people-person, David became a trusted adviser to his clients, with consistent results and transparent guidance fostering strong, ongoing relationships and generating repeat and referral work.
Bringing these skills into real estate, David takes a considered approach guided by careful attention to detail, a calm and measured style, and a strong commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes. Known for building rapport quickly, problem-solving and practical decision-making stand out as natural strengths.
David’s connections run deep through family, sport and community. From junior football at Hampton Rovers to senior football at Old Brighton, and years on the basketball court with both the Bullets and the Sabres, his life has long been woven into the fabric of the area. With family based across Sandringham and Brighton, and a shared love of the neighbourhood with his wife, David feels right at home working with the people and properties of Bayside.
Looking ahead, David is excited by the competitive nature of real estate, the opportunity to deepen his understanding of the local market, and the privilege of working closely with clients throughout their property journey. Outside of work, his interests span sport and storytelling, whether through books, film or television, shaped in part by time spent living and working in London early in his career. More often than not, he can also be found walking his Labrador, Leo, along the beach or spending time with young daughter, Margot.
