Originally from Sweden, Johanna brings a thoughtful, people-focused approach to real estate, backed by experience across Melbourne’s premium property market. Known for her strong communication skills and genuine ability to connect with clients, Johanna combines professionalism, empathy and market insight to create a seamless and rewarding property experience.

What’s your personal connection to the neighbourhood?

I’ve worked in the area for around 10 years, so it has naturally come to feel like a second home. During the lockdown years especially, the local parks, cafés and everyday community became part of my routine and helped strengthen my connection to the area. Over time, many friends and colleagues have also settled locally, which has made that connection even stronger.

What do your clients commonly say you do differently?

Clients often say they value the personal level of service and communication I provide throughout the process. I make a genuine effort to keep people informed, explore every opportunity and ensure nothing is overlooked. Buying or selling can feel overwhelming at times, so helping clients feel calm, supported and confident is always a priority for me.

How has your career led you to the role you’re in today?

I originally studied social work, so supporting people through important life moments has always been something I’ve been naturally drawn to. Real estate allows me to combine that people-focused mindset with my passion for property, while playing a meaningful role in one of the biggest chapters of someone’s life. Being trusted during those moments is something I never take for granted.

Take us through your most meaningful client story

One particularly meaningful experience became a full-circle moment when the daughter of one of my vendors later developed an interest in real estate and eventually joined our team. Supporting her journey from client to colleague was incredibly rewarding and a reminder of how strong relationships in this industry can grow well beyond a single transaction.

Your Buxton agent will cover the details - here’s a clear view of what an appraisal involves.

We approach appraisals as a practical conversations, grounded in real data, local insight and what matters most to you.

Speak to us

Your Buxton agent visits your property, considers its features, location, and market conditions, and combines that with recent sales data to give you a clear, realistic view of its value.

We analyse comparable properties, current market trends, and your home’s unique qualities. From there, we provide a considered range that reflects what buyers are likely to pay.

Not at all. An appraisal is simply insight - a way to understand your home’s value and your options before making any decisions.

Typically, we recommend an in-person appraisal so we can assess your property fully. In some cases, a virtual appraisal can provide a helpful initial guide.

Agents weigh factors differently - recent sales, market conditions, and property features. At Buxton, we combine local insight, data, and experience to provide a balanced, realistic appraisal you can trust.
